C1 is hiring experienced Senior Cooks for a client location in Kansas City, MO. This is a contract assignment running September 8 through September 30, 2026, with potential to continue on an ongoing or contract-to-hire basis. We have four openings available.
Pay is $18.24 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.54 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, for a full 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods- Cook and plate items for special and catered events- Work accurately and efficiently to meet meal service timelines- Maintain food quality, presentation, and safe handling standards throughout your shift
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment- Strong attention to detail in portioning and presentation- Dependable attendance and punctuality
