C1 is hiring a Cook II in Downingtown, PA for one of our clients. This is a contract assignment running from August 3 to August 23, 2026, with the potential to become ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right candidate.
Pay is $21.63 per hour, with overtime paid at $30.28 per hour. The schedule is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, averaging 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items with accuracy and efficiency- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, along with special and catered events- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines consistently- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work station throughout your shift
What we are looking for:- Prior experience cooking in a high-volume kitchen setting- Comfort working at a steady pace across multiple meal periods- Ability to stand for extended shifts and handle typical kitchen physical demands- Chef uniform required and must be worn for every shift
