Janitors and Cleaners - Event Cleaning Crew (Del Valle, TX)
C1 Staffing is hiring 8 janitors and cleaners for event cleaning work at a live concert in Del Valle, Texas. The pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly, and this is shift-based gig work that may lead to additional event assignments.
This role keeps the venue clean and presentable before, during, and after the show. You will be part of a crew moving through concourses, seating areas, and restrooms, keeping trash from piling up and handling cleanup once the crowd clears out.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the venue, including walkways, seating areas, and gathering spaces- Collect and sort recycling, keeping it separated from general waste- Empty garbage cans and replace liners as containers fill during the event- Sweep floors, concourses, and other assigned areas to keep surfaces clear of debris- Clean restrooms, including restocking and wiping down surfaces, and check them regularly during peak crowd times- Haul collected trash and recycling bags to designated dumpsters or collection points- Respond to spills and problem areas quickly so walkways stay safe for guests- Assist with post-event cleanup so the site is turned over clean at the end of the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig and shift-based work, which may be ongoing depending on the event calendar- 8 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 years of age or older- Ability to be on your feet and walking for the length of the shift- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift and carry trash and recycling bags- Comfortable working outdoors and in crowded areas with loud music and large groups of people- Willingness to clean restrooms and handle waste using provided supplies and protective equipment- Ability to follow directions from an onsite supervisor and work as part of a crew- Dependability and on-time arrival for scheduled shifts
No prior janitorial experience is required. If you are reliable, willing to work, and can keep a steady pace during a busy event, we will show you what needs to be done.
