Warehouse Associate - Hanover, MD
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Hanover, MD to receive, pick, pack and ship HVAC equipment, parts and supplies in a bin-located warehouse. The role pays $19.00 per hour, and it is shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis.
What you will do:
- Receive and document incoming merchandise for delivery or return, including HVAC equipment, parts and supplies- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and accurately- Pick, scan and fill customer orders from stock, then pack and ship them- Scan products to confirm every order is shipped to the correct destination- Keep an accurate inventory of all products entering and exiting the warehouse- Manage, organize and retrieve product within a bin-located warehouse system to support efficiency and order accuracy- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards throughout the warehouse- Work closely with internal customers such as store associates and sales managers to coordinate product delivery, and provide excellent service to external customers including mechanical contractors, dealers and owners- Operate powered industrial equipment such as a sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck or dock stocker when assigned
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $19.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- PC skills plus experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems- Preferred experience operating at least one type of powered industrial vehicle: sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck or dock stocker; on the job training is provided- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and team-building skills- Proven commitment to customer service and to a safe working environment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to handle multiple tasks at once- Able to load and unload delivery vehicles and move, retrieve and organize product throughout the warehouse during your shift- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
