Event Cleaning Crew - Janitors and Cleaners (Austin, TX 78701)
C1 Staffing is hiring event cleaning crew members for live event days at a downtown Austin venue in the 78701 zip code. This is shift-based gig work paying $16.00 per hour, with the potential for ongoing shifts as more events are scheduled.
The work is straightforward and hands-on: you keep the venue clean and presentable before, during, and after events so guests have a good experience from the first gate opening to the final sweep. Crews work together across the seating areas, walkways, concourses, and restrooms.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the venue, including seating areas, walkways, and concourses- Collect and sort recycling and keep recycling stations serviced during the event- Sweep floors, aisles, and hard-surface areas to keep walking paths clear- Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces and keeping them stocked and tidy through the event- Empty garbage cans and replace liners as they fill up- Haul collected trash and recycling bags to the designated disposal area- Do a final walk-through and post-event clean once the crowd has cleared- Follow direction from the on-site supervisor on assignments and coverage areas

What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to be on your feet, walking and standing, for the length of the shift- Comfortable bending, reaching, and lifting and carrying trash and recycling bags- Willingness to work in an event environment with crowds, noise, and outdoor conditions- Attention to detail so restrooms and public areas stay clean while events are running- Reliability in showing up on time for scheduled event shifts
