C1 Staffing is hiring a Catering Service Worker for a one-day contract assignment in Plano, TX, paying $20.83 per hour. This is a single eight-hour shift running from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour if it applies.
This role is all about hospitality in action: setting up catering service, delivering it to the right place at the right time, and making sure every guest is taken care of from the first tray to the final cleanup. What you will do:- Organize, set up, and deliver requested catering services to specified locations or conference rooms- Stage food, beverages, serviceware, and catering equipment so each setup is complete and presentable before guests arrive- Provide prompt and courteous service to every customer throughout the event- Deliver efficient and attentive service that exceeds customer expectations- Monitor service areas during the event and respond quickly to guest requests- Break down service areas once the event concludes, including clearing, cleaning, and returning equipment and supplies- Maintain a professional, customer-first presence at all times while on site
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour- Paid weekly- One shift only, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, for a total of 8 hours for the week- Short-term contract assignment in Plano, TX- Uniform required: black slacks and a black shirt
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior catering, banquet, food service, or hospitality experience is helpful- Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Ability to lift and carry catering equipment and supplies throughout the shift- Reliable arrival and availability for the full scheduled shift- Comfort working directly with guests in a conference or event setting
