C1 Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to support food preparation and service operations for one of our clients. Pay is $18.05 per hour with overtime paid at $25.27 per hour, and this is a contract-to-hire opportunity for candidates who perform well on assignment.
What you will do:- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between prep areas, serving lines, and service stations as needed- Assist with the setup of counters and steamtables before meal service, making sure pans, utensils, and serving areas are ready- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables, keeping portions consistent and the line moving- Restock and maintain food and supplies on the service line throughout the shift- Clean and sanitize equipment, work stations, counters, and service areas during and after service- Break down steamtables and serving areas at the end of the meal period and return equipment to its proper place- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards at every step of preparation, service, and cleanup- Work alongside kitchen and service team members to keep a fast-paced operation running smoothly
Schedule and pay:- $18.05 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $25.27 per hour- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week- Shifts start at 8am or 9am, or at 2pm or 3pm- Ongoing, career-type assignment that is contract-to-hire for strong performers
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and the ability to work a consistent weekday schedule- Comfort standing and walking for the length of the shift, plus lifting and moving items in a kitchen and service environment- A team-first attitude and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced kitchen and serving setting- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures as directed on site- Willingness to complete any required pre-assignment screening
Prior food service, cafeteria, catering, or dish and sanitation experience is helpful, but candidates who are dependable and ready to learn are encouraged to apply. This role is a good fit if you like steady weekday hours, clear daily tasks, and working with a crew rather than on your own.
