C1 Staffing is hiring a Package Handler for warehouse work in Secaucus, New Jersey (zip 07094). This role pays $18.00 per hour with pay issued weekly.
This is hands-on warehouse work in a fast-moving package operation. You will be part of a crew that unloads, sorts, and loads freight so that deliveries leave on time, and safety is the first core value on the floor every single shift.
What you will do:- Unload packages from incoming trailers and move them into the sort area- Sort packages by zip code so that each shipment is routed to the correct delivery area- Load sorted packages onto delivery trucks in an organized, secure way- Lift, carry, and place packages weighing up to 50 pounds- Follow safety procedures and safe lifting practices at all times, since safety comes first in this operation- Work shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the crew — everyone pitches in to get the volume cleared- Keep the work area and loading zones clear and orderly as you move through the volume- Stay flexible as package volume shifts during the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season- Dependable, flexible, and reliable attendance- A team-player attitude — this crew works together to get the job done- Willingness to follow all safety rules and procedures- Gloves and work boots are recommended for this assignment- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
